On 8-9 October approx. 80 leaders and volunteers of Ignatian experiments of the international program MAGIS 2016 met in the Shrine of Our Lady of Częstochowa, the national sanctuary of Poland.

The meeting aimed to summarize MAGIS program 2016 and to thank the volunteers represented by people of all countries-organizers – a large group from Poland and smaller teams from Lithuania, Slovakia and Czechia. Later, the MAGIS 2016 program’s director Fr. Waldemar Los SJ, and a member of the organizing committee, Fr. Jacek Olczyk SJ, gave personal thanks to each participant. After thanking, everyone gathered in the Jasna Gora (the Bright Mountain) Basilica for the Mass, which, due to the international character of the meeting was celebrated in English. The spiritual part of the event was ended by „MAGIS circles” – meeting in small groups and sharing thoughts about the past day and heard the Word of God.

In the evening, participants met for the gala dinner and agape, during which there was an opportunity to bring back good memories from July, when the program was held.

The culmination of the meeting was a morning mass, celebrated in the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa by Jesuit fathers. After the Eucharist, the guests in a joyful atmosphere met for the last common meal.
